How your baby's growing: This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you'll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you'd find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil bean.
Unbelievable!!! We are so happy!! Just looking at the pictures about the 6th week and we just cant believe how one of 210,000 little guy get inside another weird "egg" and becomes a person, a World changer, a new family!!
We were in Kenya and after Jess got a little late, we got the test at a pharmacy. i didn't know that two lines have to show up in three minutes after 5 drops of urine. After 5 seconds the two lines were there. I thought that it might go away after three minutes and it didn't go.. so we just start looking a t each other, tears and the reality comes in... Baby on the way!! Parents!! Future!! Family!! Education!!God some help!!!
We are a little scared and excited at the same time, we will be a family in last than 8 months... We both don't know if we want a boy or girl...
Jess is feeling a bit a nauseas and a little more tired than the normal, It is hard to look at my girl and see that she is a little uncomfortable with the feeling on the body!

In a years time you will forget all the worries that you are facing today. The baby will fit perfectly into your family and give you so much joy. God is the giver of all good things, Enjoy His great gift!
congrats guys it goes so fast and before you it you will be waiting out those last few weeks(starting at 36) and wishing time would go by faster! that is where we are at! we are so happy for you guys! we have had so many boys lately maybe you will get a little Yasmine??? maybe but you will be blessed what ever you get! congrats!
Oh how exciting! We are happy for you- many many blessings! There is just nothing like a new baby- how wonderful.
Words of advise: take it easy and go to bed when you're tired no matter the hour. You'll feel energized in your second trimester. I'm hitting the tired slump again and just don't want to do anything around the house. Your time will go quickly as you count down the weeks. I can't believe we're almost done! You think you're scared now, just wait!
I am really excited for you guys. You'll be some of the coolest, fun parents. You're a brave woman, Jess to be pregnant over the summer heat!

AWESOME!!!! That's fantastic!! You guys are going to be great parents! Make sure you put a soccer ball in his/her crib. You can never start too early you know :)
